Chewy giving away thousands of free pet treats after Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl

A win for the Birds is a win for pet lovers everywhere.

Chewy, the online retailer and pharmacy that sells pet food and accessories, is making good on its promise to give 59,000 dog, cat and bird treats if the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

"We don't play favorites, but a win for an animal team is a win for pets everywhere," Chewy said.

Thanks to the Eagles' 40-22 win in their rematch with the Chiefs, Chewy says the free treats can be redeemed by all customers, not just Philly fans.

Chewy posted a link to redeem select free treats on its Instagram story Monday morning. The company said last week that the promo code would be valid for one week or while supplies last. In an X post, Chewy also said customers could use the special promo code to place a donation order for the rescue or shelter of their choice.

Chewy is also donating pounds of food to the Pennsylvania SPCA and the KC Pet Project, "two amazing organizations that help animals in need."
