It happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday on Beaumont Avenue near East 187th Street in the Belmont section.
Police said the boy was on his way to school when he was shot in the neck. He was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Bullets flew on Webster Avenue in the Claremont section just after 4 p.m. Friday.
