Two police officers on Long Island rescued a woman who was poised to jump off a bridge Monday morning.
The Coast Guard said that the crash happened at about 4:50 a.m. on Saturday in the Great South Bay, just west of the Robert Moses Causeway near West Islip. One man fell off the recreational vessel and disappeared.
Investigators say nothing was found in their latest search for possible remains on a barrier island south of New York's Long Island.
State Police say results of FBI aerial surveillance photography conducted in April are prompting a return to the area on Tuesday.
