Nearly a month ago, it appeared the Giants and San Francisco 49ers could be playing an important game at MetLife Stadium. As it turned out, Sunday's game is important to each team for a different reason.
"He hasn't played in a while, so I can't say how much he can give us," Coughlin said of Jennings. "He knows his limitations and knows his own body. We trust him. At this point, we need a win."
The New York Football Giants (3-6) actually have the same record this year as they did last season, which speaks directly to the supposed rebuilding campaign that general manager Jerry Reese undertook in the off season. This week, Big Blue lost another player to the injured reserve list, as well as likely losing another starter to injury for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
