Young Yankee Fans Get 'Head Start' On World Series

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/AP) -- The Yankees are back in The Bronx getting ready for game three against the Minnesota Twins, but the Bombers have nothing on the 4 year olds from the River Avenue Head Start Program across the street from Yankee Stadium.

LISTEN: 1010 WINS' Juliet Papa reports

1010 WINS' reporter Juliet Papa talked to some of the energetic fans at the stadium Friday who screeched "Yesssss" when asked if the Yankees were going to win the World Series.

The young fans were all wearing Yankees hats on their tour of the stadium, and were cheering while singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."

The 4 year olds are not the only Yankee fans predicting another World Series victory. Mayor Michael Bloomberg joked on his radio show Friday that he's already planning the parade.

The Yankees took a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday night in the best-of-five division series.

They play the third game Saturday. Bloomberg says a sweep would be nice.
