NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Mets rode the right arm of Noah Syndergaard and the bats of David Wright and Curtis Granderson right back into the World Series.
The Mets cut their deficit in half with a 9-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals in Game 3 on Friday night at Citi Field.
Syndergaard overcame a shaky start to throw six solid innings and Wright and Granderson each hit two-run homers in the win.
Game 4 is set for Saturday night at Citi Field.
