Whitestone Bridge bus fire shuts down all lanes for morning commute
NEW YORK -- A bus fire shut down the Whitestone Bridge for drivers during the Monday morning commute.
The fire was reported around 8:35 a.m. on the Queens-bound side.
All lanes were closed as firefighters worked to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
