WATCH: 'Sharknado' Rips Through Citi Field

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Chalk this one up for the visitors.

The SyFy network has released some sneak peaks of "Sharknado 2: The Second One," including two looks at the anxiously awaited Citi Field scene. For the uninitiated, this is a sequel to the campy cult hit "Sharknado," a film about, you know, a tornado full of sharks.

"Sharknado 2" premiers Wednesday night, and with the Mets playing a matinee, fans should be free to take in the fin-tastic flick.

Some thoughts:

-- Yeah, that's the guy from Sugar Ray.

-- Since when do the Mets play ball in the dead of winter?

-- That tarp shot is so not accurate. Those things only happen at Yankee Stadium.

-- Only in New York. Except that time it happened in L.A.
