2 Buildings Lose Power After Washington Heights Manhole Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two buildings lost power in Washington Heights late Monday, after a fire broke out in a manhole.

The manhole fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. outside 219 Audubon Ave., near 176th Street, officials told CBS2.

A total of two buildings were without power afterward, and about 60 to 80 people were affected, officials said.
