Tim Hardaway Jr. Agrees To A 4-Year Contract With Knicks
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- First round draft pick Tim Hardaway Jr. has signed four-year contract with the New York Knicks. The deal was announced by the team on Monday afternoon.
Hardaway Jr. was selected 24th overall at the 2013 NBA Draft. The 6'6" guard was a 2012-13 All-Big Ten First Team Selection and left Michigan as a junior.
His play at guard helped lead the Wolverines to the National Title Game where they lost to Louisville 82-76. Hardaway Jr. averaged 14.5 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
Hardaway Jr. has elected to wear the number 5 and will be joining the Knicks' summer league team.
The Knicks also made official the signing of forward C.J. Leslie, who went undrafted out of North Carolina State.
