Tazo, Rescued Sea Otter, Makes Public Debut At New York Aquarium
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – There's a new addition to the Wildlife Conservation Society's New York Aquarium.
Tazo, an orphaned northern sea otter, is making his public debut. He was rescued when he was only 3-weeks-old after he was found stranded and separated from his mother during a storm.
He's been at the aquarium since last August and keepers say Tazo is playful and outgoing with a great personality.
He lives in the Sea Cliffs exhibit at the aquarium with Jacob, a southern sea otter.
