Rockland County School Going Remote Through End Of Year Due To Mold In Building

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Spring Valley High School will now continue with remote learning through the end of the calendar year.

The Rockland County school suddenly switched to online instruction this week after mold was found in some classrooms and asbestos was detected.

The district says the necessary abatement could be completed by Dec. 31.

Students are expected to return to the school on Jan. 3, 2022.
