Several Donation Boxes Damaged At Long Island Church
NORTH PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Police are trying to track down whoever broke into several donation boxes inside a church on Long Island.
The person or people responsible damaged eight boxes and stole approximately $100 in cash.
It happened around 3 p.m. on July 16 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church on North Ocean Avenue in North Patchogue.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
