Police: West Orange Bouncer Shot, Killed While Trying To Break Up Fight
WEST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities in New Jersey have released the name of a bouncer who they said was shot and killed early Monday morning while trying to break up a fight in West Orange.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. at Misty's Restaurant and Bar on Main Street.
The bouncer, identified as 32-year-old Jacques Nelson, of Orange, was shot and killed while to break up a fight between patrons in the parking lot, police said.
No arrests have been made and investigation is ongoing, the Essex County Prosecutor's office said.
