Caught On Tape: Robbery At Subway Sandwich Shop In Morningside Heights
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Detectives in Manhattan are hunting for a pair of brazen robbery suspects.
Investigators say the black-clad duo charged into a Subway sandwich shop on Cathedral Parkway in Morningside Heights last Tuesday.
Police have released surveillance video of the robbery.
In it, you can see two masked figures hustle into the shop with guns drawn.
One of the figures points a gun at the cashier, who tries to hide under the counter. The other suspect approaches the register and rips out the entire cash tray, stuffing it into his backpack.
Both men ran off heading north on Frederick Douglas Boulevard.
