Police Searching For Missing Bronx Mother

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's health in finding a missing 24-year-old Bronx mother.

Margarita Quain was last seen around noon on Jan. 12 hours after leaving her East 169th Street residence.

Police said Quain left the home with her 2-year-old son Mario Carrasquillo.

Quain is about 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Police said she has black hair and brown eyes.

Police tell 1010 WINS that Quain has a "slight learning disability."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  Tips can also be submitted to the Crime Stoppers website or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
