Long Island Residents Upset After Finding KKK Fliers

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Ku Klux Klan fliers have been found again in a community on Long Island.

Residents found the fliers stapled to utility poles on their quiet, well-manicured street in Patchogue.

"It's disgusting, I can't believe this is happening in a town like Patchogue. It's a diverse community," one man, who has lived on the street for three years, said. "Just stay out of the community, there's no place for it."

The fliers have been found in Patchogue on at least two other occasions.

In the last year, the fliers were also distributed in Babylon, Wantagh, Westhampton, Southampton, Shirley and Hampton Bays.
