Officials Search For Body In Decade-Old Homicide In Riverdale

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have begun searching a wooded area in the Bronx in connection with a decade-old cold case homicide.

Officials with the NYPD, Drug Enforcement Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement began digging Monday at a site near Palisades Avenue and Spaulding Lane in Riverdale, sources told 1010 WINS.

The search is being conducted in an area near the prestigious Riverdale Country Day  School.
