10/11 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Hope you've been able to get outside today as it sure is a beauty, despite the chilly start. Mostly sunny skies will continue for the rest of your Sunday, with highs topping out in the upper 60s and low 70s for most. If you're headed out to MetLife Stadium tonight, as the Giants take on the 49ers, expect a temp of 60 at kickoff, falling into the upper 50s by the end.
It's looking absolutely gorgeous for Columbus Day, with another day of high pressure in control. Highs will climb into the low to mid 70s, compliments of a southwest flow. Clouds will then be on the increase after sunset tomorrow, as we watch a remnant low move up the coast. It doesn't look like much moisture, but enough for a few showers late Monday night and into Tuesday, especially along the coast.
A cold front then moves through Tuesday, which could bring another shower or two, but again not looking like anything major. Temps drop back down to more seasonable levels for midweek with the return of sunshine.
As always, check back in soon for the latest. Have a good one!
