NYPD: Suspect Arrested In Harlem Subway Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say they have arrested a suspect in connection with a violent robbery of a woman in the subway.
The NYPD says 25-year-old Levonn Allen was arrested early Thursday morning.
Police say he punched a 43-year-old woman on the platform of the 2 and 3 train at the 110 Street/Central Park North station around 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 25.
He's charged with stealing her cell phone.
The victim was treated for a bruise to her face and released from Mount Sinai hospital.
