11/1 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good afternoon, everyone! While it's not a perfect day out there, it's not a bad one either. After starting off with overcast skies and a few light showers moving through, we're seeing that break up now. Highs will top off in the mid 60s for most and upper 50s in the far NW suburbs.

It's looking good for Game 5 of the World Series tonight, with a temp around 61 for first pitch. Temps drop into the 40s for most overnight, while the city bottoms out at 54.

The system we've been watching for Monday now appears will stay to our south. Any trend to the north could send some rain our way, so we'll watch it closely. But for now it's party sunny with more clouds to the south. Tuesday starts the real treat as temps hit the low 70s! That's our normal high for late September, so 10+ degrees above normal. Plenty of sunshine as well, so be sure to get outside!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
