Umbrellas and wet weather gear is needed today, and don't forget a few extra layers because it's going to be chilly out there to begin.

We have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. for interior New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley and Connecticut.

It's cold enough in these areas for freezing rain or sleet during the onset.
