Mets' David Wright On The FAN
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- New York Mets third baseman David Wright joined WFAN's Boomer & Carton to talk about his up-and-down season, K-Rod, and Braylon Edwards' DWI charges.
Wright first gave his take on Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards' DWI arrest.
"There's no question that there's temptation," Wright said. "In my opinion at least, the consequences aren't nearly worth going out and doing those kind of things. Especially being a role model and being a guy that, you want a be a leader in this community, that's not setting a good example for the young kids and for the kids that look up to you."

Wright was also asked about the Mets' struggles in 2010.
"A lot of teams have had injuries, and we need to overcome those injuries a little better," said Wright. "I think that we need to go into next year... we all need to get better, step up our game."
