Man Found Shot, Critically Wounded In Central Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found shot and wounded in Central Park Tuesday evening.
Police say it happened near 106th Street and East Drive just after 8:00 p.m.
The man was discovered with one gunshot wound to the chest by two joggers, according to police.
A 9-mm handgun was found roughly 50 feet from where the man was found.
He was transported to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital with critical injuries, according to authorities.
Police have determined that the man's wounds are most likely self-inflicted.
