Tuck Shop, or "The Great Aussie Bite" as their subheading says, focuses on Australian meat pies, and has a great range of them for reasonable prices. Starting with traditional ground beef as your meat, the 'chook' pie, which features chicken, ham, leeks in a white gravy, vegetable, Guinness steak and mushroom pie, BBQ pork pie with cole slaw or even mac & cheese pie. All the pies are $5.50-$6, making this a sweet lunch deal - sides are only $4, or for the big eaters, the Tucker Box gets you any pie and two sides. Yum!

Peek into the window of Chicky's on 86 and you will see whole chickens, cut open, being grilled to succulent and tender deliciousness. Open the door and the incredible scent will hit you face-first as you walk into the sparsely decorated space; it's hard not to order the charcoal broiled chicken, but if you manage to tear yourself away from that wonderful smell, try the Buffalo wings (pictured). Fried crisp but still retaining a good kick, the medium order ($7) is perfectly sized to leave you wanting more without wanting a nap. Or get both, as the star here really is the charcoal chicken. Why not?

The menu at Big Nick's is extensive and can be very intimidating. Forget all that, save yourself the time and just order the Bistro Burger (pictured). It will change your life. A large Angus burger with Swiss cheese, fried mushrooms, caramelized onions, served on grilled, thick-cut challah bread, cooked to perfection - juicy, bursting with flavor from the caramelized onions and fried mushrooms... This burger brings new meaning to burgers. Another dish not to miss: the hot Grecian style spinach, which includes tomato, onion and feta in a big plate of spinach... so good, you won't even realize you're being healthy.
