FBI, Homeland Security On Alert After ISIS Calls For Attacks On U.S. Churches
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are urging law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert over the holiday weekend.
Officials said the warning comes after ISIS issued an online call for attacks against U.S. churches.
The FBI is tracking the threat's credibility, saying "we continue to work closely with our federal, state and local law enforcement partners should there be any potential threat to public safety."
