Injured Hiker, Stranded Along Hudson River, Rescued

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ (CBSNewYork) -- A stranded hiker was taken to the hospital after being rescued along the Hudson River.

Crews pulled the injured hiker from a wooded area along the river in Englewood Cliffs.

The hiker was placed on a stretcher and then taken to a waiting marine unit. The unidentified hiker was then transported to a local hospital.

No word what caused the injuries.
