NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- It was a messy morning commute Tuesday as another winter storm made its way through the Tri-State area.
The early morning snow caused some slippery road conditions and limited visibility, prompting delayed openings and some closures at schools across the region.
Another Round Of Winter Weather Makes Mess Of Morning Commute
Forecasters had called for snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches in New York City and 3 to 5 inches of snow in other areas.
In the city, alternate side parking regulations were suspended again Tuesday and will remain suspended through Saturday. You still have to pay the meter.
Since Feb. 3, alternate side parking rules have been suspended 14 times. The record is 62 days straight, set back in 1978.
Wednesday's forecast calls for a chance of rain in the morning with gradual clearing after 3 p.m. Temperatures will reach a high of 45.
