Hearing On NJ TRANSIT Super Bowl Flap Postponed
NEW JERSEY (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A New Jersey legislative hearing on train troubles at the Super Bowl was postponed after the departing head of NJ TRANSIT said he would not attend.
Assembly Transportation Committee chairman John Wisniewski announced Friday that the hearing would not be held on Monday.

As WCBS 880's Peter Haskell reported, football fans who used NJ TRANSIT to get to and from the Super Bowl were furious that there were too many people and not enough trains.
Twice as many Super Bowl ticketholders as projected took trains to MetLife Stadium. It took hours and dozens of buses to get everyone out.
"Well I think that they all have responsibility for what happened here, and I think this is all now an attempt to sweep it under the rug," Wisniewski said.
The assemblyman told Haskell he feels this is an attempt by the NFL and NJ TRANSIT to absolve themselves of any blame.
Wisniewski said NJ Transit Executive Director James Weinstein told him he would not be at the hearing.
Weinstein this week announced that he was resigning effective March 2.
Even though the Super Bowl flap was a one-shot deal, Wisniewski said it still matters. "Anybody thinking about using the train to go to a future game is gonna have second thoughts."
A spokesperson for NJ TRANSIT said the agency is doing its own review. There has been no response from the NFL, Haskell reported.
