Gov. Andrew Cuomo Bests Christie, Bloomberg, Obama In New Poll
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been riding a wave of popularity in the Empire State, but now a new poll pits him against other leaders, both local and national.

A Quinnipiac University poll matched Cuomo against President Barack Obama, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Poll director Maurice Carroll says Cuomo beat all three.

"Is he a better leader than Obama? 46 to 35 say yeah. Better leader than Bloomberg? 51 to 35 say yeah. Is he better at cutting government spending than Gov. Christie? 40 to 29," Carroll told WCBS 880 reporter Rich Lamb.
Carroll says Cuomo's overall job approval rating stands at a solid 62 percent while 64 percent of voters say they like Cuomo.
Voters were also asked to describe Cuomo in one word. The top two responses were "good" and "competent" while the number 9 response was "arrogant." Only one person offered a profanity.
