Giants' Rolle On Head Injury: If I Had Call, I'd Play Sunday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- If Giants safety Antrel Rolle had a say, he'd be on the field at MetLife Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rolle landed on his head late in the fourth quarter during Sunday's 29-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He left the game and was examined for a possible concussion.

"If it's up to me, I'm definitely gonna be out there come Sunday," Rolle told WFAN's Richard Neer on Tuesday.

On Monday, coach Tom Coughlin said he wasn't sure if Rolle suffered a concussion. Rolle told Neer that he has been going through the league's protocol for head injuries, and so far tests have come back "pretty good."

Coughlin said Rolle was "a little dizzy" when he came off the field. The 29-year-old safety insisted he was fully aware of his surroundings after the play.

Rolle said he has a few more tests to take before he gets a decision on Week 9.

"I feel fine," Rolle said. "I feel very good."
