2 Killed When Car Loses Control, Flips Into Oncoming Traffic On Bruckner Expressway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were killed in a fiery crash involving several vehicles overnight in the Bronx.

It happened around 11:45 p.m. Monday on the Bruckner Expressway near Country Club Road.

Police said a blue 2011 BMW XI was speeding around a curve when the driver lost control, struck two light poles, flipped into oncoming traffic and hit two other vehicles.

Two more cars were hit with flying debris, and another also crashed.

The driver of the BMW and a female passenger were killed.

Victims from the other cars suffered minor injuries.
