Police: One Dead, One Injured In Wyandanch Shooting
WYANDANCH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Suffolk County on Sunday night.
Malik Stoddart, 18, and a 19-year-old man were shot while walking down Avenue near Doe Street in Wyandanch at around 11:25 p.m., police said. Stoddart was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19-year-old, who was not identified, was taking to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
