Fire Breaks Out Inside Elmont, Long Island Garage
ELMONT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Officials are working to determine the cause of a fire that broke out inside a Long Island garage.
Fire crews responded to the scene at Dougherty Avenue in Elmont around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
At one point, smoke was visible from the Lincoln Tunnel, CBS2's Jim Smith reported.
No injuries have been reported, but there is significant damage to the structure.
