New Jersey Police Searching For Suspect After Dog Is Shot In Head With BB Gun
KINGWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork)-- New Jersey state police are searching for a suspect after it was discovered that a dog was shot in the head with a BB gun.
Officials said troopers were called to the owner's home in Kingwood Township after she discovered a copper BB lodged into her dog Sergeant's head. She said she was cleaning her dog when she came across a small, hard lump.
Detectives believe someone with access to the property could be responsible for the shooting.
