NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Hurricane Sandy brought huge amounts of destruction to the Tri-State Area. In the days that followed, we saw both the best of humanity and its worst, as looting and other safety issues became a growing concern. Now there's a new problem: Sandy scammers. These are price gougers, people who pretend to work for an official agency but don't, the list (anecdotally) seems shockingly long.
