Mayor De Blasio To Undergo Hernia Surgery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio will undergo surgery Friday to repair a hernia.
The mayor will not be conducting official business at City Hall on Friday due to the surgery, spokeswoman Karen Hinton said in a statement.
Hinton said the hernia developed recently. No other details were available.
De Blasio will have a public schedule on Sunday and will return to work at City Hall on Monday, Hinton said.
