CBS2 Mother's Day Morning Weather Headlines

Good Sunday morning, and Happy Mother's Day! If you're heading out early make sure to grab the umbrella because we will see a few quick showers. Don't fret though - sunshine finally returns this afternoon and we'll have a gorgeous day to celebrate, temps reach the upper 60s.

Tomorrow's going to be a beautiful start to the week with plenty of sun early and a high in the upper 60s/low 70s - 72 for NYC. Some high clouds filter in late but we'll stay dry.

Tuesday looks to be partly sunny with perhaps a few showers late at night and early Wednesday morning, but the best bet looks to be south of the NYC area. Temps will be nice right around the 70 degree mark.
