Brush Fire Breaks Out Near New Jersey Turnpike
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A brush fire burned closed to drivers along the New Jersey Turnpike on Wednesday.
It happened around 5 p.m. just south of the Meadowlands.
Flames could be seen near the turnpike as heavy smoke billowed into the sky.
The fire has since been put out.
