Police: Graffiti Artist's Body Found In Car Outside Brooklyn Hospital
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The New York Police Department is trying to find out who fatally shot a graffiti artist in Brooklyn.
Fitzgerald McBride, 46, of Brooklyn, was found in his car in front of Interfaith Hospital around 5:20 a.m. Sunday with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are trying to determine the circumstances and location of where McBride was shot.
McBride, who went by the tag name "2 Mean,'' had a long arrest record on charges of criminal mischief and making graffiti, prosecutors said.
In 2004 he was sentenced to up seven years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, prosecutors said.
