Police Release New Video Of Man Wanted In Bronx Attempted Rape
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released clearer surveillance video of a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape in the Bronx last month.
On the morning of May 26, police said the suspect came up to a 24-year-old woman from behind as she walked down East 161st Street, and threw her to the ground.
The suspect then lifted the victim's skirt and lay on top of her, but ended up running off toward the Grand Concourse, police said.
The suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red and white striped short-sleeved shirt, and a black watch on his left wrist, light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a baseball cap with stickers on the brim.
