5-Year-Old Boy Drowns At Jacob Riis Park Beach
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say a 5-year-old boy drowned at Jacob Riis Park beach late Saturday afternoon.
Officials responded to the beach around 5:05 p.m. to find the unresponsive child who had been pulled from the water by an on-duty lifeguard.
Ezekiel Gray, 5, of Brooklyn, was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
