With the Mets making themselves players this offseason, Jerry Recco dedicated a good portion of his Thursday update to the Amazin's. But by doing so, he thrust himself into Boomer & Carton's argument about their recent moves.
Jerry was with Boomer in favoring the trade for Neil Walker and the reported signing of Asdrubal Cabrera, and argued against Craig's take that the Mets took a step backwards.
The update maven also managed to mention the Knicks' feeble effort in Utah, which resulted in a 106-85 loss, as well as the Jets, who are busy preparing for their Sunday afternoon matchup with the Titans at MetLife Stadium.
In addition, both St. John's and Columbia won on the college hardwood.
