Jerry Recco was once again burdened with the unenviable task of delivering the story surrounding a Mets loss.

The latest, a 7-1 setback in Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday, came with Jacob deGrom on the hill and leaves the Mets in the unenviable position of being down 2-0 to the relentless Kansas City Royals.

In addition to all of the hoopla surrounding the Fall Classic, Jerry also spoke about the Knicks, after they won their season opener in Milwaukee in impressive fashion, and the Nets, who got thumped by the Bulls. In addition, Jason-Pierre Paul practiced with the Giants on Wednesday and Craig morphed into Tom Coughlin.
