Despite a lackluster performance from Matt Harvey, who labored through five innings, those Amazin' Mets downed the Dodgers 13-7 on Monday night to grab a 2-1 advantage in the NLDS.
The win was the organization's first in the playoffs since 2006 and first at Citi Field, so needless to say that's what Boomer and Craig discussed to get their Tuesday morning sports talk party started.
The Mets will try to finish off the Dodgers Tuesday night in Game 4 with rookie left-hander and Long Island native Steven Matz ton the mound, while the Dodgers will counter with Clayton Kershaw, who will be working on just three days' rest.
Get your popcorn ready, folks.
