WCBS 880's Monica Miller On The Bet Between The Breweries
Four years ago, Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy says he made a Super Bowl bet with Boston's Harpoon Brewery that the loser would have to put the winner's beer on tap for one week.
This time, Harpoon's president was on the line the minute the Giants beat the 49ers.
"He clearly wants revenge, and so I was more than happy to take up the bet again" Hindy told WCBS 880 reporter Monica Miller.
But this time there's a twist.
"The brewery staff and the brewery presidents have to wear the opposing team's jerseys for the week," said Hindy.
Hindy says a win for the Giants this weekend also means a win for the brewery.
