If you're uptown, then make sure to stop into Double Dutch, located in the heart of Harlem. This adorable coffee shop is on the narrow side, but it boasts a delicious espresso menu using Counter Culture beans. You can also nibble on tasty bites, like avocado toast and acai bowls. The staff is always friendly and if you feel up to it, you can grab a seat outside on the patio. Stick around, because at 4 p.m. you can also sip on something a little stronger from the bar next door, Mess Hall. The two establishments share a patio once the sun goes down, so feel free to add a shot of Baileys to your cup of Joe.

You may notice the line for Culture Espresso sometimes goes out the door. The wait is worth it, because each cup is curated from different farmers and roasters from across the country. Your barista will most likely make a beautiful piece of latte art, so make sure to sneak a peek before you put the lid on your cup. If you're in the mood for breakfast, they also carry a variety of goodies from Dough Doughnuts, Magpies, Ceci Cela, Blue Sky Bakery, Overly, and Corner Café.
