B&C Morning Show: Yanks Open With A Win, Boomer Opens With A Bad Mood
Boomer could not hide his contempt this morning.
Despite the Yankees' win and the Mets beginning their season later today against the Marlins, Boomer's bad mood could not be penetrated early on after his beloved Rangers got thoroughly embarrassed by the Islanders by a score of 6-2. Craig preferred to focus on the positive, shifting his radio partner's focus from the ice to the baseball diamond because, well, baseball is back.
Eventually the Booms' mood began to change a bit as Craig sang the praises of the Yankees, who, led by Curtis Granderson, looked very good from top to bottom in their 6-3 Opening Day win over the Detroit Tigers.
