B&C Morning Show: What A Weekend
Boomer summed up the weekend by saying there's a lot to be happy about -- and he couldn't have been any more accurate.
The Knicks clinched their first playoff birth since 2004. The Mets took two of three from the Marlins down in Miami (the Mets didn't win their first road series last year until June when they swept the Baltimore Orioles, June 11-13). The Yankees slugged their way to two wins over the Tigers at the Stadium, dropping the rubber match yesterday afternoon after a shaky start from Phil Hughes.
All of that -- and the UConn Huskies and the Butler Bulldogs played their way to the Men's NCAA Championship Game, which will tip off tonight at 9:23 (EST) on CBS.
So Boomer & Craig reflected on a fantastic sports weekend in the Tri-State area... and then questioned the late start for tonight's NCAA Finals...
