This segment began with the guys saluting some local college baseball teams before it somehow shifted to Craig asking Boomer if he could lather him up with sunscreen later Tuesday.
Boomer declined the generous offer.
Jerry Recco advised the Blonde Bomber to allow Craig to rub him down with sunscreen, especially to the back of his neck, but Boomer still didn't seem interested in having Craig's hands all over him.
Eventually Jerry delivered his well-prepared update, beginning with the Mets' 5-4 setback to the Cardinals yesterday afternoon at Citi Field. the news wasn't all bad for the Mets though, as Craig was thrilled to report that Jason Bay was scheduled to make his return to the Mets lineup only to get sick and therefore was unable to do so.
The Yankees were idle as they gear up to take on the Ray at the Stadium tonight with Andy Pettitte facing James Shields.
Plus, Phillies manager Charlie Manuel stopped by the MLB Fan Cave and Jerry had the audio to prove it, the Thunder took a 3-2 advantage over the Spurs after a 108-103 win in San Antonio, Devils lose to the Kings 4-0 and now trail 3-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals, the MLB Draft took place last night and the bull named 'Boomer & Carton' lost in his first appearance on the PBR - which by the way stands for Professional Bull Riders - not Pabst Blue Ribbon...
